I just bought a complete brake conversion from a 1995 Integra (DC) to go on my 1992 Civic HB (EG).

I got the master cylinder and 40/40 prop. valve with the swap, but did not get the booster.

I've have been reading threads and noticed that I will need the integra (1") brake booster if I am going to use the integra master cylinder (correct me if I'm wrong).


So I just wanted to clarify a few things:

First, what size is the Mastercylinder from the 1990-91 Civic Ex sedan? Is it 15/16? Will this work with my current Civic 7/8" booster? What sort of reflaring will I have to do, or will it fit right in?

Is the Master cylinder from the 94-5 non-ABS Integra RS compatible with my braking system without changing the booster? (ie. can i use the RS mastercylinder?) Is the RS mastercylinder the same as the 1990-91 Civic Ex sedan mastercylinder?

Are there differences between my current brake booster and those off the Integra RS or 1991 Civic Ex?

Is the integra booster the best option? The only reason I'm concerned is bc I've read that it takes a lot of time to install the booster.
