Im installing my emenage and I have all the wires hooked up but the Rpm wire. I looked up the wiring schematics for the ecu and didn;t see it. Is there an other name that they use for it? Could it be the Crank position wire?

 

look at the wiring diagram for a VAFC on the http://www.apexi-usa.com website. it'll show you were the RPM signal wire is.

 

I have an 02 civic. and it doesn't show wich one it is. Is there a name for the Rpm signal wire?

 

it usually is blue on hondas

 

look at the cluster wiring diagrams and you will see the tach signal wire which is usually solid blue.

 

yeah I found it. they call it "engine pulse speed wire" on the wiring schematics. thanks
