SSAC or not, who cares. They hold up on some apps, we have already found that out. Good luck with the other manifold and get some pics of it with the turbo installed on the manifold and stuff. Looks pretty good to start out with. No one will notice the rust, they are going to be staring at the turbo and front mount.

open yours, and prepare to open your mind.....
Stainless steel thermally expands and contracts, alot. By adding those braces between the collector (if you can call it that) you arent allowing the material to expand and contract, putting stress on it and eventually causing it to crack. removethose braces and brace the turbo to the block, then you have a decent manifold.

Can you show better pics of the manifold braced to the block cause I have the same one and I am just going to keep it until I can afford another manifold. But mine is for a d-series.

i hope slammd sol deosnt mind, but i took this photo from his site.

that bracehe made bolts to where his ac mount used to be. he adjusted the tension on the mani using stacks of washer, with this setup you cant unbolt the mani and the turbo wont move

UGH this topic is beat around so much. bracing it like most people going from the turbo flange(on the manifold) to the head flange will not do ****, it will probably make things worse as previously stated. the picture just above my post is the proper way to do it. Bah screw ti I'm just gonna save this image so I can show it to everyone that always keeps bitching.
