is my lsd shot?
ok so i get stuck in the snow today, go out to push my car while a friend drives it, and i notice that only one of the wheels are spinning, sometimes the passenger wheel spins while the drivers side doesnt and vice versa. So is my lsd shot? No stragne noises from the tranny or anything like that. Thanks in advance.

I thought LSD worked with clutches or something, and that they had to have a little bit of traction to work. I can see how that might happen in zero traction... It's limited slip, not NO slip afterall.
put your caR up on jackstands...turn the one wheel and if the other goes in the opposite direction you should be fine

he is correct. there is actually a torque spec, when you turn the wheel at the hub. i do not know it offhand, but it is in the helms. i haven't messed around with oem lsd's in about 4 years, so i forgot it. if you had a clutch type lsd, both wheels would be spinning at the same time. later on tonite when i get home, if nobody posted the procedure/torque spec, i will get it for you.
