Default ECU upgrades for low $$$

I'm on a pretty tight budget...looking to spend about $80 or so on some parts. Got an air intake and vtec controller already. I saw a venom controller thing (you know the ones, they're EVERYWHERE) on ebay for $70...considerably cheaper than new.Are these things any good?
I saw this too: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1
I know it's not specifically tuned for my engine, but it's gotta be better than stock, and the price cant be argued with. THoughts?

Oops, just noticed that link is for an automatic. Other than these, anyone have a "good bang for your buck" part that's under $80 and doesnt require your car to be jacked?

dude, just get uberdata. Its free, and you can get bins for free too, if you dont want to get your engine tuned.

I tried that once. Loaded it onto my computer, loaded the bins to see what there was to tune, and nothing was coming up. All numbers were 0s and the charts were really out of whack.

Thanks for the links. I did a good bit of reading before on some general ecu tuning site, but it was mostly about hondata. Any good links for the process to get the ECU tunable?

you're gonna spend 14 bucks on an ECU chip?? I wouldn't trust hardly anything dealing with the ECU from ebay, but thats just me, everyone on their puts MUGEN, or JUN racing, or JDM crap on the title to sell more, ebay is ok for some stuff, just not this.

Hmm, I was looking at tuning with uberdata. I dont have access to a wideband sensor or burner. So...any other ideas?

just SAVE $$ for decent mods. a chip/new ecu aint gonna do **** with just an intake. the vtec controller (you got a VAFC right??) really won't do anything until you have more done to your engine, along with some dyno time
