I currently own a 99 Si... I turboed it, then I de-turboed it. I lowered it, and I de-lowered it. I did a **** load to it, and now it's completely stock again. I love the car, but I took it apart to buy something else. Something not FWD, something like an STI, or 350z.... but I can't get the type s out of my head. I love the way the thing looks, I love the interior, and even though it's FWD, I still love the engine.
So.... I think I'm going to pick on up sooner or later. they are fairly cheap for what you get and I don't think I could see myself driving something other than a Honda. Rant over...
Now for the real questions: Does the type s come with a LSD in the 6 speed this time? How different is the new k20 compaired to the a2? I only saw some of the changes they did to the motor. and does anyone have any pics of the 05 with the factory front/rear lip and side skirts??? I have yet to see it on an 05 yet, thanks

Email me @ Bigmac6902@hotmail.com for questions about the chassis. I live near Albany NY. Also you can get @ me on AIM: Irishweird00
have you thought about S2000's, its still a honda, has an lsd, more power, more torque, best of all its rear wheel drive, imo it looks better, and you can get a excellent condition low mileage 2002 or 2003 for the same price as a new type s
if your gonna get one, get a 2002 or newer, the older ones have a couple small problems and they have a plastic rear window, newer have glass windows and everything is fixed etc

Yeah, I have already been down that road. I'm 6'4" and all legs... I barely fit in the car.... good enough to race it, but not good to drive around in it for hours. If I was shorter I would of owned one already.

damn that sucks, iv sat in a rsx they have great leg room, im 6'1, not as tall as you but, i had to move the seat up a couple clicks and had alot of head room, very comfey car
im also in the market for a new car and have been doing some research
the 05 has 10 more horsepower, iv heard it uses the jdm itr intake manifold and cams
and i saw a post couple days ago in here that someone posted there 05 with the oem kit, looks real good
as far as lsd, look at an oem jdm itr unit or i hear good stuff from quaife
should make a nice difference
or you could sell your trans and buy a jdm itr trans and it will have the lsd and the better gearing and final drive

Yeah, They upgraded the motor quite a bit from the A2... and I like the stock look of the car better than the body kit they have for it. Looks very clean, almost like a upgraded version of the 99-00 civic si front ends. That's probably what is drawing me towards it. Plus the interior is money... I love the way it's designed. Leather owns
