Default 5 lug conversion

im looking for a 5 lug conversion for my cx. if anyone knows of a legit business that has one (and not jdmhp) please let me know. now that i have the money for it i cant find one anywhere.

Inlinefour.com sell this setup for $1700 with out rims!! Not worth in my opinion even if your trying to make a fake Type R

master cylinder.. brake booster.. proportioning valves..

ALL THE BOLTS <- that is very important because acura charges you like 5 bucks a bolt

i think brians are 1225 for ctr without wheels....

i got my brothers for 1800 with wheels and rubber from then about a year ago, i guess their priceshave gone up/ howver 2 struts were bent and the i had to replace the hubs a few moths down the road. not the greatest deal by any means.

Damn in Miami they can be had for around $1500 with springs, shocks, hubs, brakes, sway bars, control arms, trailing arms, wheels, tires, brake booster, and parking brake cables.

Have you ever thought that it's a good way to get excellent brakes, good swaybars and upgraded struts/springs?

Where'd that come from? Unfortunately, us 6th gen owners can really only take advantage of the brakes (if the parts come from an ITR, which they almost always doo). Oh well, it looks cool.

Hey guys.. what the difference between a typr r break conversion and a GSR conversion.. aside from the fact that a GSR is 4 lug and the r is 5? Are the discs bigger or anything?

but also for EG's you can put the ITR shock/spring combo on

There are 2 reasons for upgrading to ITR brakes/suspension.

1- You autocross. Bigger brakes, and better suspension stock

2- You want 5lug cuz it looks cool.

actually i wouldnt want those for autox, too much added unsprung weight. circuit track yeah, but not autox, if you are trying to be competitive

GSR/LS front rotors are 10.3 inch
ITR front rotors are 11"

GSR/LS front calipers are big
ITR front calipers are HUGE

rear GSR/LS rotors are 9.xx"
rear ITR rotors are near 11"

yup, no need to go spend more money on something you dont really need. just get the GSR brakes and a good set of pads (look into Carbotech Engineering for pads) and you should have more than enough braking power

Actually, I'm getting all four corners of brakes from a GS-R and then I'm getting the FastBrakes Wilwood 4-pot upgrade with 11'' rotors up front, and then I'm also adding the Fastbrakes rear 11.4'' rear with caliper relocater bracket.

I don't want the 5-lugs - I was just pointing out how stupid that "fake Type R" comment was.

The Wilwood Dynalite Claipers save 8lbs. per side according to Fastbrakes!

Jesus the guy has a CX hatch (which is white) with a JDM B18C swap and now wants 5 lugs, sounds like a soon to be fake Type R to me. And to spend $1800 plus just to have 5 lugs is insane!! Fine if your going to be doing road racing with SCCA but for trips to the mall and school, I personally thinks it's a waste of money. WTF is with no freedom of speach on H-T.Com???
