so yea.. there's a tiny small hole rite there.. I have no idea where it came from. anybody have n e idea how that came about? and is my brake booster bad?

 

Did you try to hammer a nail in it and thought it might be a wrong idea so you pulled it out? Is it, was it leaking?

i'm going to have to look closer at it. It's not leaking or anything.. i think it mite just be paint coming off..

If it's not leaking it's probably not a hole.

 

If it IS leaking, replace it. Brake fluid sprayed all over your engine bay wont do you any favors.

 

how can brake fluid be leaking from the brake booster? fluid doesnt go through the booster... only through the MC

I never said anything about leaking brake fluid, this other guy did.

 

okae.. figured it out. Its not a hole, but a lil slight indentation rite below the MC. All brake boosters have it.. and i think it's designed to be like that so that when your MC goes bad and leaks, that the fluid will be able to leak out the bottom of the MC.
