Default Brake fluid in brake booster?

Okay so I just recently removed my booster/mc from the car and I realized there was fluid coming out of the vacuum port. I turn it over and even more came out. Question is how the hell did it get in there? I'm thinking the MC seal might be leaking but there's really no signs of it. Also with all that brake fluid in the booster will it hurt the diafram inside the booster? Appreciate the help.

Brake fluid can bleed in along the shaft. Mine leaked between the MC and booster first, and was damp under the MC on the booster. There is a rim/ridge inside the booster opening for the MC that keeps most of it out. I was told that with time, if it is brake fluid in the booster, it will ruin the booster. I rolled a paper towel into a wick, and stuck that into the booster through the MC opening and did not find fluid. Still working 2 yrs later. It is hard to imagine that much brake fluid without some leak between MC and booster.

Hmmm. Is there away to check to make sure the MC is good. Brakes worked great before I took it out. Also the actually resevoir was a little loose so could this be the culprit?
