Well since I got my turbo out of the junkyard about a year ago and it had shaft play to begin with I thought it was time for a new turbo center section. The turbo is great except for it smokes A LOT but it got me a 13.9 @ 105 mph so I cannot complain. So I got a new center section for Christmas and am just now getting around to installing it. Gotta torch the exhaust side of the bolts tomorrow to get them loose then it will all go back on.



As I had the compressor housing off, I decided to clean it up a bit! This is the best before pic (OLLD *** PIC):

That's after only 45 mins of sanding and a wire brush wheel. Still not done, gonna hit it with the buffer wheel tomorrow and throw it all back together and drive! Just thought I would post as I am pretty bored
