New center section - Is it this easy?
I recently spoke with "BamaBev" on referral from someone here a while back. She told me that with a new center cartridge that she sells for my blown (sitting in my garage) turbo, all I have to do to install it is put the housing on and that's it, and voila, a new turbo. Is this true? Is it really that easy? If replacing your turbo is that easy, then why would anyone pay upwards of $500 for a brand new one? If all I have to do is put the intake and exhaust housing on with 5 bolts, then that would be fantastic, and I could actually have my car running again. If anyone can help me out with this subject I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Yes, just move the housings over. And MJM is great, that's where I got both of my turbos from. Fast, friendly, great quality, and awesome prices.
