Well i have just put the itr mainfold in my B16, and just now started the ignition or started the engine. and have a problem. My engine sounds like it's leak, and rpm is at 2000 when i start the engine.

*<U>What i used</U> is the stock intake manifold gasket, the b16 throttle, and the B16 fuel line.

*<U>WHat happen?</U> it leaks from the throttle body, and RPM is @ 2000

 

get a new throttle body gasket and adjust the idle (little screw by throttle body cable connector)

 

Well i felt that it leaks and the engine keeps on reving highso thats why i went to get a new intake manifold Gasket & throttle gasket and put my stock back on. So i Return the Type_r manifold back.

 

did you use the R t body gasket or B16a one? you are suppose to use the B16a gasket.

 

make sure u put it in the right way too cause i remember putting it the wrong way and it leaked

 

well i decided to not put it on no more, and plus i found out that the b16 P30 help out more then the itr. Why? because there's a book that shows the dyno on it.
