i have a Greddy TD04H-15G turbo with supra intercooler and custom piping.
I want to buy a b18b and then boost so im wondering wut will be needed to put this turbo setup on that motor, and if it will be worth it?
i've so far heard that i will only need a new mani and that the setup will fade out on the top end.

any suggestions plz and thank you

 

15g turbo on a LS would be Ok i guess as a starter turbo..

You will find yourself wanting a big turbo soon enough.

Horsepower wise i am sure you could prolly tune it for 200~whp maybe? Maybe alittle more...

 

I wouldn't even want a litte 15g on my d-series. I would defintely get a bigger turbo.

 

your also going to need a different manifold, and probably have to modify the piping.

 

well im only shooting for 250+ whp. and i like a quick spool.
plus i cant afford a bigger turbo unless i sell wut i have, so ya im not looking for more than a starter turbo on the b18.

further more this turbo on the d16 wasnt all that bad.

 

i would also change the piping because i wouldnt keep the supra intercooler.

 

Dude, sell the 15g and get another turbo...

 

get a sohc apexi ball bearing sohc kit fit perfect on my ls w/ lil mods spools super fast and makes good *** power

But what do i know...i still run stock turbo on my dsm
