B18c1 swap problem...mounts
I have a 1996 civic EX auto. Im trying to swap in a 2001 B18C1. I have no idea how to connect the top tranny mount to the frame, none of the mounts fit on there. It looks like the mounts are different between the auto and manual. Does anyone know to fix this problem, or will I have to find someone to weld me new mounts?
My car before the engine came out was an automatic 1996 civic ex....The keyword here is automatic. I put in the new engine, a 5 speed B18C1. I have the 99-00 si top tranny mount, but it doesn't mount to anything on the frame.
I think what I should have asked is, are there any differences in the "frame" mounts between an auto and a manual.

Care to explain thsi body side mount....?
I went to H-Auto, a honda supplier and I asked them. They said aside from welding something on, there is no mount that will fit there for my new manual car.
Luckily my friend has a friend who's a welder, and he welded the mount in last night.

The 96-00 Civic's have the rubber bushing mount attached to the chassis and the engine gets the matching bracket. Fifth gen civic's and tegs are opposite.
I'm still confused....it looks from pictures that the automatic vs manual chasis have different mounts. I'll take a picture of mine, and compare it to a manual one.
