ive just recently finished my h22a1 -> h22a swap and since the swap my alternator hasnt been working. the alternator its self works, cause ive had both alternators(the one off the JDM motor and usdm motor) tested off the car and they work fine. i tested the black/yellow wire and the white/green wire on the alternator harness for voltage with the ignition on and the white/green was only putting out 0.15v. the black/yellow put out the correct 12.xx. in my manual it said to check the wire for an open circut but i tried chasing the white/green wire through the engine bay but cant find where it ends up. i think i found the white/green wire where it goes into the ecu, and it pulled the same voltage. the only part that confused me was in the part of the manual for troubleshooting alternator problems it said that the wire went into the PGM-FI ECM but on the wiring diagram there is the white/green for the alternator.

 

would it be possible to fix this by running a new wire for the whire/green? or since its putting out almost nothing on both ends is it something else? are there any hidden ground wires i may have forgot that would effect this.

is there anywhere else in the engine bay that thw white/green wire could be going in through the firewall besides in the 2 main harnesses by the fuse box? im going to try replacing that whole wire and see if that helps
