Honda's "official" name for the Crank Pulley.
Ok, anyone with a Helms or Honda factory service manual...could you tell me what exactly Honda calls the Crank pulley? Is it a balancer, dampener, or harmonic dampener...or is it just referred to as a (crank) pulley?
Primarily for a G3 Integra or a G4 Civic, but probably any Honda/Acura manual that had a D series or B series motor in it will tell me what i need to know.
And since I know you all whant to know why i am asking, yes, this does have something to do with STS/STX. If you already knwo the answer if Hondas can use an aftermarket crank pulley, just tell me that

In my helms for my 94 Integra it just calls it a "crankshaft pulley". Sorry I can't fully answer your question. HTH.
Remember, that at national events you are required to carry with you a factory service manual (or equivalent, i.e. helms) to address such concerns if someone protests you at the event. "i heard on honda-tech that in their helms manual for this other car......... " wont win you any protests i'm afraid. Helms manuals are cheap anyways
Ryan - who wishes he could've bought helms manuals for his car instead of forking over $150+ for factory service manuals on his saturn

Todd00, not sure if you have already talked to him... but Pat Goss has a pretty well-developed STS Integra and I think he has Unorthodox Racing pulleys on his GS-R. Check over on the Street Touring egroup for him.
I actually posted a query on there and no one answered. Gool old Honda-tech came through though
