Default Do you use 5w-20 ?

Do you use 5w-20 or 5w-30 ? there are lots of concern that since 5w-20 is thin oil, it might make engine last shorter. Do you agree ?

I'm new to HT but I'm almost positive there are dozens of threads covering the "What motor oil do you use/is best/prefer?" topic. Anyways I use 5w30 on my stock d16z6 motor year around.

Mobil 1 5w30 all year round in my Y8 because I live in Canada, and it's so cold up here that we have to live in igloos.

I use 10-40, but it looks like everyone uses 5w-30 so I will be using that from now on
