Does anyone what this means. My check engine light came on about 3 months ago and now every now and than I smell this weird smell like old eggs or something.

Egg smell normally mean the catalytic converter is not working properly. For your check enginel light, you can diagnose the problem yourself, just use the search function to find a thread with the procedures. You can also take your car to an auto parts store and they will retrieve the codes from the computer for free. Post the codes here so we can further help you.
