Default mini me start to lose coolant

my mini me lasted for a year now with no problem, still runs strong but the problem is i lose coolant like every week if i go up moutains like going to the casino or long distance drive. all hoses are good, i dont see any leaks on the ground or on the motor. the timing belt is clean so the waterpump should be fine. the other thing is the head gasket, do u guys tihnk it can cause the car to lose up coolant.

help me out. give me some possible ways so i can check it out.

Yes, coolant will leak into the combustion chamber and be burnt up/blown out with the exhaust gasses.

It could be a headgasket, but it might not be. Do a compression test. Are you spewing out white smoke?

Well not much help but the had gasket would be blown, as said aboce check if theres white smoke. check to see if there is oil, coolant mix on the dipstick, and pull you plug wires uot and see if there anything in there. but most likely the gasket just blew, possibly not torqued down the right way??

White smoke will definitely tell you if you have a bad head gasket. If it's bad, the coolant will get into the chambers and ofcourse, it burns white. Have someone stand behind you car and tell you if white smoke is coming out when you rev it.

If you don't see any coolant anywhere around the block or on the ground, this is probably your best bet. Good luck

i have white smokes only when i just start up my car up which that is normal when engine is cold after when engine is warm no more white smoke. the dip sticks just have oil on it and the spark plugs is dry.

If you can't see coolant leaking anywhere on the motor, and you're losing it, your HG is bad.

Does your engine get hot/overheat?

EDIT: nevermind it doesn't. Prob small HG leak.
