vtec cams in non vtec engine

Default vtec cams in non vtec engine

i already know that the vtec wont engage... but i was wondering if the vtec cams have a more aggresive profile than the nonvtec ones...ne body have any cams for sale? ... lemme know whats up!

Even if they did work, the lo-cam profiles would be less agressive that the non-vtec counterparts.

no worky

non-vtec - more aggressive cam due to lack of vtec

vtec - double cam profile one for reg driving (tame) one for vtec (Aggressive)

Seeing as you have a nonvtec you would never kick to the more aggressive lobes.

So in the rare case it dide work (meaning you install it on your car and your car actually runs)

It would be slower cause you would be in the non-vtec lobes of the vtec cam all the time

That's if any of the lobes on the vtec cam even lined up with the valves...
