Default block without main caps - am I fuxored

I was looking to buy a block from a guy I know and he said he didn't have the main caps. I couldn't find them separate from the block on hondaautomotiveparts.com. should I just tell him to forget it.

BTW it's a f-series block. I can get a complete engine shipped to my front door for $400 tops. so even If I can get the parts, it may not make sense.

I would just get the whole engine if you can get it for 400.

It's not worth the $ to buy a engine w/o main or cam caps. The new caps would have to be machined to fit the block they aren't interchangeable or just blot on and go.
