ignition timing ...need help (to retard)
hey everyone i pretty much know how to do my timing(it's obd-0) but i keep reading that you need to "jump" the conector wire (to send ecu into limp mode) but i want to know if thats safe......because 1) im now have turbo 2) the ecu is chipped(te) im worried about doing this because i have a f.i. chip please help! oh yeah i did search(9 pages) no luck
well now ive been told that the light shouldnt come(from the ef fourum) and i tried to fix the timing but the timing "jumps" around. so is there any other way to set the ignition timing??

the whole point of jumping that connector is so that the timing doesn't jump around. Thats what i've heard anyways. It should make it so the timing doesn't increase with rpm.
