who has a half radiator?
should fit except mounting brackets and the lil bracket on the bottom that holds it up wont be there....whats the pint in this??? save weight or something?
i dont think i'd save 5 lbs for cooling efficiency to drop.

haha, just trying to free up space for my turbo set up.
so with some custom brackets or zip ties ; ) it'll work? im just worried about it hitting the hood and since its 2" and dual core im sure it'll cool pretty well
Seriously, the H22 can get pretty hot pretty quickly, since it's designed to really operate in the higher RPM ranges the best. It would probably work, but you'd need a hell of a lot more work, i.e. fans, thermostat. What would the benefit be?

the benifit is, i'll be able to run my turbo set up

maybe with a fluidyne radiator and i'd deff run no thermostat and have a switch for the fan to turn it on no only by itself under normal driving conditions, but during the race have it on all the time......dont dare with an oem civic radiator...like he said h22's get pretty hott.

oh i know, the civic radiator wont get the job done, this is a "race" radiator similar to the fluidyne, but many ppl have oem style civic radiators on there hatches with h22 swaps

I would have to agree, what about the people running boosted h22's in their hatches? They all use race radiators, but they are still half-sized. I haven't heard them squealing about heat issues in the civic forums.
I believe FastludeH22 runs an aftermarket Civic radiator; it's small as hell and surprised me when I saw it!
He said he has no problems cooling w/ it on his 500+ horsepower Prelude, so I'd say you're good to go

exactly...and its not a $400 dollar one either. i use a 40 dollar fan from advanced auto, biggest one that will fit the rad, and the fan turns on w/the key(but thats been like that for years)... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1054593

Here's a pic of my set up with a half radiator by Griffin. I never had it overheat on me, even in traffic. I'm back to NA now and still using it, because it with the slim fan is far lighter than the stock radiator and fans.

good point, but how much weight would you save? would it even be worth it? unless your just trying to save space....but lets say for instance on an all motor application.....would the weight savings be worth it?

exactly....so unless i need a new radiator soon (i replaced mine 2 months ago) i wouldnt invest in a new one...but its something to keep in mind for the future

I'm running a pwr dual core civic radiator. I ran it even without a fan for about 2 months with no problems whatsoever. I just now put the fal fan on it and the turbo so I was running n/a with that radiator but it worked fine
