there is a peice around the head unit you pry off softly with a flat head, then there will be 2 or 4 screws holding the head unit in, then you can pull it out, unplug the antenna reciever wire and the wiring harness, then plug and wire up the new wiring harness and connect the wires then reverse the process

Do you have keyless entry? If so if you take the radio out I believe you will lose keyless cause it runs through the radio. But anyway, you have to take the bottom part of the dash off that is under the radio bezel, should have a cigaerate lighter or 12 volt outlet in it. After you take that piece off, you have to look up in the dash, you may have to take out the climate control to get to the radio, but there should be a few bolts holding it in place, just take those out and it should slide out, then there are a couple bolts that hold the radio in place, take those off and I think the radio will slide out too.

Not 100% sure that is exactly how it goes but you should be able to see what needs to come out once you take that panel off under the dash.

Hope that helps out a little.

Is the 98 LX dash the same as the EX? If so, DONT TRY PRYING AT THE DASH PANELS. Follow these instructions:
