I dont know how to describe it really. When i am fully stopped and begin to roll, the car makes a weird noise. I guess a honing noise? It like when you hum but not a high pitch hum and not a medium one- on between.

The noise begins when i begin to let go of the clutch and begin adding gas. Then the noise will end when i let go of the clutch completely.

Ask all the questions you need. This is a 96 h22a1 Prelude.

Could it be the clutch?

i have an act clutch and it does that like screeching sound all the time when im starting in first gear

 

is it new or old? uhh i guess im not going to get act then lol. Its not really a screeching sound though, dont know how to describe it..

 

i get that too. well i think i do from your explanation. but someone told me it's cuz of my brake pads? i'm not sure tho, becauase i don't see what that has to do with your brakes. haha well if you do figure out the problem let us know cuz i need to take care of that too!

 

i dont think it shold be the brake, its not a squeeking noise either. I've been driving it lately with now "sounds". That day i traveled about 80 miles total which is way more then i usually do... Could there be any reasoning behind that?

I think i will just change my clutch and see if it goes away. Or if it does it again i'll record it.
