2 q's - tial wastegate, and losing boost...
First I have a tial sport wastegate, silver one and it was on the car when I bought it (turbo'd gsr) the vaccume line is going to the side/bottom port, and the top hole is open, is this correct??
Currently I am running a turbo xs MBC, when I take it off I am at 8.8 psi (somewhere close to that)...and it holds, no creep or loss... When I put it on, it reads .8 bar, I can turn it up to .9 bar and it will hold for a while (20 minutes of driving) then go back down to .8 bar. I assume the problem is with the MBC? After it goes back down to .8, the only way to get back to .9 is to turn it back up. I have a greddy profec b II coming this week, so I'm hoping that fixes the problem. any thoughts?

The top hole on the wastegate is where you hook up your boost controller, if you dont currently have one then the top hole should be open...i dont know about your other problem though, sorry.
ok so after finding it on tial's site I see that the vaccume line should be T'd before the wastegate, one going to the side port and the other going to the top with your boost controller in line with it.
Right now, mine has only the one line running to the bottom and the manual boost controller stuck in it, does anyone know what affect this has on boost, or performance? When my Greddy Profec B II arrives I will install it correctly, but I just want to know what difference it makes from side, to top & side on the WG

if you are running an MBC you use the side port. Just put it in line with the vac source.
If using an EBC, the side port gets a normal vac source. And the top port goes to the EBC

thank you, so do I split the vac. line when I put the EBC in? like T it off, send one to the side port, then the other to the EBC and on to the top? thanks!
