Im well on my way of throwing some small boost(6-8psi, gt28/71) on my S. Just wondering if I should worry about upgrading the fuel pump with 450cc injectors, stock fuel pressure and an EMS controlling everything. If it was a Civic, Id say yes, but Im quite new to the S2ks. That and the S's already flow through 360cc injectors anyway, so its probably a much higher volume pump that a Civic pump.
TIA, and sorry if this is a beaten topic, I didnt have time to search...

Ive gathered a few opinions from trusted friends, they say it should be fine.
I say Im going to install some 900cc injectors that I have here instead of the 450s, and turn down the fuel pressure so its easier to tune @ idle.
I think I just answered my own question though on whether or not I need a larger fuel pump, but I have another...
Does anyone know the exact size of the stock S2k fuel pump?

yea i would change the pump. the comptech SC kit comes with a fuel pump even with the low 6lb kit. there has to be a reason for that! i dont think the stock pump will do.
The stock fuel pump will be fine up to about 320 whp. I ran the ultimate racing kit on mine with 600 cc injectors and the greddy emanage for about 2 years with no problems. Never leaned out. Dynoed at 310 whp and 230 ft-lbs.

Will do! Ill toss a 255 in there for re-assurance. No fuel=boom, dont need that
Heres a sneak peak of whats goin on:

Id like to use a GT28 of some sort, that turbo is for mocking(upcoming kit).
Im only shooting for 300whp or so, and Ill run whatever boost pressure will get me there(Im guessing 5-6psi). Any more and the clutch will be suffering(as if it wouldnt be anyway).

hehe. Now that Im getting these comments on a design thats truely original(ie, mine, copied by a few others already) I can only assume its because these two companies are about the only ones properly welding these thick-guage manifolds

2k miles. 1200 are from the trip from NY. We got snow pretty much WHILE pulling into the driveway from NY, so its been tough to get some seat-time.
Im trying to have this kit ready by spring too, so gotta get crackalackin yo!
