Default 1.5L I4 - Engine question - Civic DX 94'

Was wondering if the 1.5L was a non-interfernce engine or the opposite?

They are interference engines. The pistons even have indentations for the valves in them. If the timing belt snaps, you can kiss your valves goodbye.
