Default interferance engine?

Yup I've serched untill I got fed up with no results, so here goes.
Is the 1992 2.2 engine an interferance engine.
Meaning, if the timing belt breaks the engine does also?

if the timing belt breaks, yes, you'll mostlikely do damage to your valves. How much damage can vary, but your defiantly going to do damage.

yes, it is, so if the timing belt breaks there is a high probability that the pistons will hit the valves.
