Default Needing more power out of F22B - where to start?

I have recently purchased a 97 Prelude with a dead standard F22B non V-Tec engine and tiptronic/automatic gear-box. I am wondering if anyone has any experience in building up this engine to achieve more power?
I am keen to hear any ideas, as I currently have no real idea what to do other than the obvious intake and exhaust mods.

Cheers.

I wasnt aware that the 97 ludes came with an F22b, I though that all cam with an H22a. Anyways you can always buy an AFC and tune it for your car and also purchase some cam gears, power pulleys, high flow cat, new tranny if you want to dish out some money!

Lots of info in the more power forum

5th gen in the US were all H22A4's elsewhere they
came with the F22B non VTEC as well as with H22Ax.
Back on topic...

The best thing that I think that you can do is put
a better set of cams in it. Usually the only
option is a regrind of the existing cam but here,
Crower makes 3 stages of H23/F22B
camshafts. Stage ones require no spring or
retainer upgrade and can be found relativly cheap

A better header is also an option but it might
hard to get, depending on where you are located.

I thought that the f22b was the beautiful boost friendly accord block? I had an f22b1 in my 94 accord ex that had 8.8:1 compression stock. Cheap boost friendly block (still has vtec also!). Easy to find if you blow one up too.

USDM F22Bx is a SOHC vtec engine
non USDM F22B (no suffix) is a nonvtec DOHC 2.2l with iron 85mm bore and standard 95mm stroke. Cousin to the H23A1. Read up on it if you want more info
