Just noticing the nice flat portion of the graph, but that may be because of turbo trying to spool? That sucks about the guy ditching out, that would make me angry. Impressive none the less.

add more timing from 4000-5000rpm in the low cam. monitor knock via some knock detecting device(at minimal have someone sitting with their ear over the engine and have them hear knock) when audible knock comes, retard the timing back 1.5-2*. then graph your low cam only(vtec disabled) and then graph when you set vtec at 3000rpm. the place it intersects is your new vtec point

In short, your midrange sucks becuase your vtec engagement is high and your low cam doesnt have enough timing.

How do you figure that the smallest B-series VTEC cams made the car pull to 8500? It would have pulled harder and longer with GSR or ITR cams.

dr charles and i agreed that b16a cams are the best for turbo setups cus of the low over lap and i think since lisa kubo ran 9s with em i think it will work just fine
