hey guys my girlfriend has a 2001 civic coupe ex. i was wondering where the reset button is, after you change the oil. i want to get the maint. req'd off the gauges. please help me and tell me where its at
I'm not entirely sure how 01 Civics are, but if it's like 96-00 there is a small keyway hole to reset the indicator, just stick your key in there and reset it.
If it's not like that, and it's like the accords/tl's, there should be a reset button that is used to also reset the trip mileage. With the car off, push the reset button, then turn the key on. Hold the reset button until the maintenance req'd light goes off.
Another idea is if you just have a 'stick type thing' that comes out of the gauge cluster for resetting the trip mileage, try using that in the way mentioned above.
