D16Y8 Having Redling troubles!! Need help
I have a d16y8 motor that redlines too early. The redline should be at 7200, but its redlining at 6200. I checked everything i can think of: ecu, cap and rotor, distributor, spark plug wires. Anybody know whats up with it. Please help.

Why do you ask? and if this is the case for you; did you swap to a five speed ECU?

You say that you have a p28 ecu for your d16y8....and say it's 'stock'.

Actually it's not the 'stock' one. It is a 'sutiable OBD1 ecu', though.... but a STOCK D16Y8 ECU is a P2P
just thought I would let you know....
