Where is the thermostat located on a '96 Accord?
look at the radiator hose, follow it until it gets to the block. Thats the thermostat housing. Not hard to replace either.
Top hose of the rad going to the block.
Remove the bolts, pop out the thermostat. Some coolant of course will leak out but not to worry. Scrape off old gasket completly.
Install new gasket. You can use a couple of dabs of grease to hold it in place if it moves on you. Then install thermostat RIGHT SIDE UP. Reinstall bolts. Turn car on look for leaks and top up fluid.
