b16a2 thormostat location
pretty simple question... on my b16 where is the thermostat located
do i follow the top or bottom radiator hose to the block? im thinking top just wanted to make sure before i started yankin hoses
would the fan not come on because the thermostat is broken?

if you take your hand and follow the lower radiator hose, it will lead you to the thermostat housing which is attached to the block. if your thermostat is stuck the hoses wont ever get as hot as they should.

ya i just changed mine, follow that lower hose it will bend on the passenger side of the block and theres 2-3 bolts holding it in and once you unbolt that housing you can see the t-stat make sure you line it up the way it came out

make sure you have a good mental image of how everything came out or a literal picture. its extremely hard to put a thermostat in backwards, upside down, etc, but its been done before. if you get your new t-stat from autozone or a similar store, make sure you also get the gasket and a small tube of sealant. if you get it from honda, everything should be included that you need.

How to change your Thermostat Guide
Sounds like the fan switch might be bad. Are you overheating?
