Default H22A EG Complications

I have some decisions to make but I need some info first. I have an OBD1 95 JDM H22 in my 94 Civ. First of all I need some reliable axles. I'm thinking 500 hp ones to be safe. I'm looking into buying a used JR supercharger off Ebay, but will the 97-01 charger work on my 95 engine? Some say firewall clearance is an issue, but theres nothing a nice big sledge can't fix. I need some good axles maufacturers, and I'm also looking into a Quaife LSD. Is the Quaife necessary? Feel free to elaborate or add suggestions. BOB

- Gator axles (search for em)
- JRSC won't fir on H22 in EG civic without cutting a big hole in the firewall
-if you can get a factory lsd for cheap get it, but aftermarket LSD such as Quaife are well worth the money

Sorry to jack ur thread but can some guys that actually use or have used Gator axles tell me what they think. I was going to pick some up when I got my swap done but I heard alot of bad things so I decided to save up and get the DSS axles.

My friend bought some Gator axles for his h22eg, but than they messed up after a month of regular driving. He called Gator and everything, and they explained to him the company that produced the joints for them produced them in a cheap manner. So, Gator decided to go with another company(to produce their joints), sent my friend new axles, and he has been running fine ever since.

If you PM RotiEatter on this forum he can give you the full story. I believe he even made a thread about the whole ordeal, but I could not find it in the archives.

If you plan on running that power and go ahead with that JRSC, I really recommend the Quaife, not to mention it has a no-questions asked lifetime warranty, even when racing. That's the thing that has always attracted me to Quaifes.

jrsc wont fit also cause the belt wont reach without a custom pulley assembly to go up and over the driver side strut tower.

So are Gator Axles a good buy now? They're much cheaper than DSS axles so if they work I'd pick some up soon.

Pretty much, give Rotieatter a PM, and he can tell you from firsthand experience.
