Default obd-0/obd-1 block swap question: need help!

ok, ive got a 91 integra ls. the block is bad, im pulling it and replacing it with a 93 ls block. which i just realized is that it is obd-1, my car is obd-0. on the back of the block, it has a plug with 2 connectors on it that the obd-0 block doesnt have. it is right next to the oil filter location. i was told that i can use a 92-93 ecu, and it will eliminate that plug. which ecu do i need to use or is there a way to bypass that plug and use the obd-0 engine harness/ecu?

bump for any help.....

one for sure is the coolant temperature, it is the one with a black boot covering it, and has two small circular connectors in it, Now all you have to do is take those wires and plug it into the coolant temperature swith on the back of the thermostat housing off of the newer motor. If you do not have that you can always make a coolant temp block that T's into one of the colant line and holds the old sensor off the block. The first is much cleaner and really is the right way to go. What does the other plug look like ? how many wires?

there should be two the sensor ground and signal, just get the plug end with a pigtail and wire it up ground to ground and so forth. if there is one wire , wire it to the signal wire.

you need the clip that goes into the sensor deely in the second pic....as long as you have that then just cut the wires from the 1st pic and splice into the connector so you can plug it in. i did this when i did my swap....i had an extra wire harness laying around.

are you sure you're just not getting the keyway all the way in there snug...sometimes it takes a little jiggling to have it fall into place...even when just replacng it on an OBD0 motors

yea, i tried. the key where it goes into the end of the cam even looks smaller. i put the 2 dizzys up next to each other and the obd-0 one is smaller than the obd-1 keyway. if thats the deal, can i switch the 2 to make one of them work? anything else i can try??
