Some teaser pix0rs from the Barber Motorsports Museum...
Made the drive to Barber Motorsports outside Birmingham, AL on short notice; took about 40+ pix, would've taken more, but was on a tight schedule...
Will post more once Len uploads the rest (my WTDR account is full)
Anyways, some highlights...
Honda RC40 - aka NR750 (mid '90s oval piston powered, over the top showcase for Honda's engineering prowess); the only one I know of outside of Japan:
Here's a pic (not mine) of the oval pistons in the V4:
Honda RC30; not THAT rare, but OH! what a sight to look at Some day I will own one...
Ducati SUPERMONO; first one I've ever seen in real life. Magnificent.
Ho-hum, right by the entrance with no plaque...A Britten V-twin Superbike. Can't be more than a handful in existence. Utterly unique construction; I could look at it for hours...
Frame? What frame?
Check out the swingarm on the Ducati 900MHE
OK, the Bimota V-Due was a dog, but the yoke and clocks are still art
Overall, I was awed by the scope and QUALITY of Mr. Barber's collection. Definitely worth a visit.
BTW, one of the attendants at the museum said most of the vintage Honda GP racers were in storage at the moment; hopefully they will be exhibited next time I go

So, so sweet... thanks Shane! You have an eye for the beautifully designed details. I love those Bimota gauges...
