I have the s2 IM, and cut my egr wires cause I wasent just gonna let it hang there, so how do I get the ecu, to not through a code when driving in cruising speeds, which is when it comes on? Im thinking somthing like putting a resister, there, to show thats its hooked up, because from what I have heard the wires are only there to monitor that it is actually working.... correct if wrong, thanks, I need a way around it.
If you're OBDI you'll be fine (no CEL) as long as it's still plugged in. I believe OBDII has a sensor that looks for flow as well as the valve movement. The only way that I know of to get rid of it a standalone...
Here's what I did with mine--

Zip ties rule--

I haven't heard about anyone using a resistor, but
for you if figure it out.
