Synthetic v. Regular (dumb mistake)
Noticed i was a quart low on my oil (old old old H23) so in a hurry i went and picked up some oil (valvoline max life) after i added a little under a quart, i noticed that nowhere on the bottle did it say synthetic. i did a search and came up with this:

which i think answers my question but what does anyone else think? i saw some other threads that said basicall "do not do this" so, i have all synthetic, valvoline max life 10w-30 and just under a quart of valvoline max life regular 10w-30. is this okay on the engine? should i go up and have it changed ? (too lazy to do myself) or can i just use it like this and then start adding the synthetic back in the next time it burns it up? thanks for any replies.

It's fine too top off with oil - it's better than running the engine low. Just remember to stick with the same type of oil at your next oil change, and thereafter. Be it synthetic or petroleum based.
