Default D16Z6 181.2/172.0 T25 8-9psi

95 EX with D16Z6
edelbrock SOHC manifold... custom adapter plate for the dsm t25, dsm sidemount, dsm bov, dsm o2 housing, 2.5" downpipe, 2.25" catback... but there's no cat
dsm 450's, stock pump, stock regulator, 2" ic piping, arp studs, new oem headgasket and t-belt (160,000 miles lol)

boost was fluctuating between 8-9psi.. a/f low 12's into mid 11's on top, prolly could've made a ton more but seeing as this is a daily / winter beater with 160,000 i didnt want to push it too hard.

Baseline On a Dynojet (before turbo)

After turbo on dyno dynamics (181.8/172.0)

His IC sits right infront of the turbo (where the A/C wouldve been).

Interesting setup.

That 2.25 exhaust is killing you, the IC piping could be larger also.

But not bad. Whats fuel management?

guys its not my car its my friend's who wanted a peppy daily driver so he gave me the car to do with as i pleased, i told him what to buy and we installed/tuned it

prolly coudda gone bigger, but he already had a 2.25" muffler/axle back he wanted to keep, plus its just a T25 on low boost, we're not shooting for record breaking numbers or anything, 2.5" downpipe reduced to a 2.25" "catback" w/ no cat was good enuff for the situation.

ic piping is 2"... its big enuff for the situation

we're using uberdata 1.6 on it...

personally i didnt think we'd break 170 whp

i think the dyno session put it over

it was fine when i was street tuning/driving around on the basemap...

after the dyno i was scared shitless the clutch would blow (i had to drive it 400 miles home afterwards)

Isn't the kinda close or the charge piping in a bad place like smack dab right over the manifold? Either way nice job on your friends setup. Why wouldn't he just put a t3 on it since the manifold was setup for that?

that's why we made the heat shield. it gets warm to the touch after a long drive, not much hotter than that. we really only put it there so it didnt melt the rubber coupler.

the edelbrock manifold is flanged for a T25/8...

http://www.edelbrock.com/autom....html

i found out the hard way after i picked up a nissan t28 and both the manifold and turbo were studded lol, so thats why we ended up using the t25 w/ the plate..
