Im lookin at a jdm engine that is in oakland california. its D15B 1.5L. Im not sure what to do because ive never heard of this jdm parts dealing company. sctc1983 is the companies initials...but i dont know if i should trust them. it says that the engine only has 30-40 k on it. im trying to put it in my dx civic 94. what should i do?????? and what do i need for the swap if i end up with this engine?!??!

 

How much are they asking for it? If it's an incredibly low price, it's probably to good to be true. I guess if i ever bought a swap, i would want to see the internals and such. I've never heard of the place your talking about (sctc1983)? Theres only a couple sites i would buy a swap from.

 

i live by oakland and havent even heard of it and plus i really wouldnt trust anything in oakland. all u need to drop it in your car is the engine if u get it.

 

its an equivalent to a d16z6, its vtec i believe and all u need to do to ur car is get a vtec ecu... p28 or the one for that motor and wire up vtec... and the JDm d15b is the sohc zc motor
