Would anyone be interested in renting a seat in the Golf for the enduro? 3.5 hours is going to seem awfully short but

Email me...

Looks like Greg Amy is going to try to come down and run the enduro with me. Anyone interested on putting some fuel in a Mexican car? If things go like they're suppsed to, that will be all that's necessary.

I'm reading the NASA enduro rules more closely and continue to be intrigued by some of the pit rules. While correct quick-fill dump cans aren't permitted...

... The use of hoses; funnels; clamps; PVC & ABS fitting, valves, and pipes; threaded connectors; roofing supplies; various plumbing supplies; and most similar items found at a local hardware store are generally allowed.

Even if Greg can't make it, I'll run the sprint race.

I'd be willing to lend a hand, just let me know when/where to be, and what to do. I've never been in a pit crew before but I welcome the opportunity, if you don't mind a little inexperienced help.

Out of this list of H-T'ers, you SHOULD be able to find a fuel lackey. Maybe you can even get the whole gaggle of us to show up in the pits for moral support

Group 4 for me.

Anybody want to split hotel costs (either in Danville, or one of the places near the airport)?

Supps for enduro will be up soon. I am writing as we speak. There might be some substancial differences from the NASA Enduro rules.

Supps will be posted on the NASA web site.

I would not fly into CLT if I had either GSO or RDU as an option.

Looks like Greg is not going to be able to commit to the enduro after all so I have the open seat in the Golf for rent. Very reasonable for someone with the right combination of speed and common sense...

I think it depends on what you're camping in...if you mean a tent, then yes, you are crazy....The weather was good last year (high 40's & dry) but it was windy (the canopy over the spec miata next to me flew away). Also, remember that at 6AM in the paddock, the temp will probably be about 15 degrees colder

If all else fails, stay at the Innkeeper West (only $49/night) & get some roommates!
