Default seatbelt conversion g3 to g2

Any tips on doing the manual seatbelt conversion on my G2? Acura wont touch my broken passive belts cause the previous owner tampered with it already. Im planning on using G3 seatbelts for the conversion.

Do the factory belts only lock during hard braking or does it just lock when you pull hard? Thanks in advance.

dont know if its ever been done but an alternative is to find some jdm or canadian seatbelt setups. they are both manual setups.

and factory belts lock when there is enough force to cause it, hard braking or pulling really hard.

Whats short the pillars or the belts? I dont mind having no pillars in a gutted car. All seatbelts from other cars should be long enough to wrap around me right?

Oh and anyone with pics of this? Mainly of the b pillar where everything is bolted up.

may bad 4rm the last post u just use the seat belt itself, u gotta cut a hole in the pillar part, where a manual seltbelt would go, it got all the indentations in it, if u remove the plastic pillar, and just screw in the da1 belts in there, but the problem with that is, when u remove the tracks 4rm the auto belts. it leaves a gap, between the door and the pillar, so if u going for looks, just get the canadian or jdm manual seatbelts!!<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by oldtegskoo90 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the pillar is alittle short</TD></TR></TABLE>
