Default motor blew; doing oem rebuild; need help checking check list for parts

hi, I just blew my stock gsr because of a boost controller malfunction. It kept the wastegate spring closed the whole time. My Zeitronix wideband was in a friends car so he could tune it at the time so, I didn't have my boost gauge or egt readings. Hard 3rd and 4th gear hw pull....

to make the story short..... 2 bent rods and 1 cracked ringland.

ill post pictures later if i have time

I'm going to do an oem rebuild for now since the car might be getting sold in a year and need help double checking the check list before I start ording parts.

thx in advance

-oem gsr pistons (overbore)
-oem gsr rods
-oem oil pump
-oem water pump
-oem timing belt/tensioner set
-oem rebuild gasket set ( got one with oem parts? i know they have one for some other brand... but is it just as trustable as oem?)
-apr headstuds/rod bolts

-gonnna get oem bearings locally at acura dealer to match the nessary size
bearings

1) Also what should I do about the bolts for the mains and the crack griddle??? reuse? go oem? or are there apr's???

2) I have never ordered pistons.... do they come with rings or do I have to order them separately?

3) Anyone know where I could get a deal on these parts?

4) is it really nessary to balance everything???

5) Am I missing anything?

rings don't normally come with pistons, to get good prices, go to acuraautomotiveparts.org

Reuse you the bolts for your cap and girdle, unless they are damaged in anyway. They are very expensive from the dealer, something around $8 a bolt I think.

Be sure to add a helms to that list.

Very valuable if you are rebuilding the motor yourself.
