OEM or Aftermarket Rebuild Parts?
When rebuilding your engine for boost did you guys get all factory parts (gaskets, various pumps, etc..) or went with cheaper aftermarket ones. If aftermarket, which ones are good and which ones to avoid?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: OEM or Aftermarket Rebuild Parts? (int3gra)
I got a 'top line' engine rebuild kit (don't know if it's good or not) and I'm throwing in non-OEM water pump, belt, etc. Because it's a cheap d-series that I'll probably blow up anyways. That's my excuse.

Things such as water pumps, gaskets, and whatnot, its a good idea to go with OEM. Maybe ud wana go with a prodrive oil pump gear....but recently it seems liek a lot of race car's r even goin back to stock gears since their prodirves seem to be breaking just as much.
