Car jerks to the left while braking over 60mph
My girlfriends 91 GS has a weird problem. Its automatic and has ABS. (Thats not the problem lol
)
If you drive on the freeway over 60, when you press on the brake pedal the car will slow down about 2 MPH before it suddenly jerks to the left. When this happens, it feels like the pedal loses pressure for a split second, and it pulls violently to the left, strong enough to make you counter steer. I checked the fluid level and everything seems fine, I didnt get to look at it in depth because she just took it to her dads mechanic.
He cant find anything wrong with it. He road tested it and felt the same brake problem I did, but he doesnt know whats causing it. Im guessing maybe the left caliper is stuck or has trouble moving, and when enough brake pressure is applied the caliper breaks loose and grabs suddenly? I dunno, anyone have any ideas?

yea..it could be a bad caliper. possibly maybe an air pocket in that one particular line(not sure though), but just a suggestion... iunno man.
take off the left wheel and check to see if the rotors are bolted on tight and dented in.
