How much is it selling for? Personally i wouldnt buy it since most likely the motor has been beat the hell up, who knows what the owner did to it before. Because of that, its risky buying it since it might be abused/damaged internally. I guess you can do a compression or leakdown test on it, but theres other things that you cant check unless you tear the motor apart.

The turbo setup is nice tho

I would think about it but ask the seller to have a compression test before i buy it because of the old motor plus a turbo, plus it was probably beat on, cause who wouldnt beat on there car if they had a turbo, but i had a da n loved it so if its all good under the hood the hop on it da's are amazing

 

Yea compression/leakdown test would tell you if the rings and valves and stuff are still good. But I still would be skeptical about things like the crankshaft bearings, condition of the bearings in the turbo, etc.
