Engine Water Damage Question
A couple of weeks ago my bro's car was messed up due to water damage.Well we drained the oil put new oil, took out the spark plugs and tried to start it like that, since this is what people were telling us to do.The sparkplugs were wet, anyways if you look down into where sparkplugs sit you can still see water and oil down in there after the fact that we drained the oil.Alot of water came out when we drained the oil.The engine does crank so it's not locked.Would it be wise to invest in sparkplugs or take the engine apart.??Help.info would be appreciated.thanks.

pull out all the sparkplug, pull out ecm fuse and crack the motor to get all the water in the cylinder out.
and do a compression check, the cylinder near the tb would be lossing compression.
check for bent valve and replace.
it's not pretty.
