Default Goodridge stainless steel brake lines daily driver?

Is there really any point to upgrade to these lines on a daily driver? My brake pedal does feel mushy right now, but i just ordered new rotors and brake pads along with the lines, but i'm having 2nd thoughts about installing them. I've been hearing people say that you need to check the lines often, because dirt might get in it and cause wear that you can't see unlike the stock lines. What are your guy's opinions? Anyone running them on a daily driver?

too late I could always just sell it? But if there's no problems on a daily driven car.. i don't see why not.

honda/acura oem brake lines are good, usually they won't suggest replacement unless the car is got high mileage, or you track it or drive hard quite often, it's really up to you, i felt an improvement on pedal pressure when i got my lines...they're cheap anyway, $110 or so? can't find a decent digital cam for that money...

that's true.. my car is almost near 90k, so the line probably haven't been replaced since. Isn't it true you can't see the wear on the lines since of the steel braids covering the teflon?

170K at time of death, never replaced OE lines. Spend you money on something else for a daily driver.

stainless steel lines are only stainless steel on the outside. and yes, it makes checking them for cracks difficult cuz you can't see through the braided ss. I thought of getting a set but after doing research it seems like they are more trouble than they are worth for a daily driver. tho I do not know how long they are intended to last, so they might be fine for as long as you have the car [depending on how long you plan to keep it]. I opted not to get them since there are better things I can do with the money.

I highly recommend NOT running ss lines for a daily driver unless they are coated.
